I head the new demo(s) from the Bandname sessions that will become their Self-Aware 7" and I am super stoked. If you haven't heard this band then you are in for a real treat. They released a CD/tape of their demo "Insert Hear" in 2009 and toured on it with their good pals Algernon Cadwallader. Their journeys together took them to across the east coast, down to FEST and into my heart. If you like WEEZER or ELVIS COSTELLO then this could be your bag. You have to see them live to really appreciate it though.

On another note, I updated the Bigcartel site so you should be able to get most of our releases off of that page if you are interested. We have numerous 7"s and a plethora of CDs and LPs on that page under the distro category as well as all of the Self-Aware releases you haven't gotten around to picking up.

So I had promised myself that I would update more frequently but I did not. Issue 5 of the zine is still available so pick it up while you can. We are currently working on the new issue for an early spring release so for the time being just hold on to your butts. We are still working on a slew of new releases, one of which we are trying to work the kinks out on before we announce it to the world. The CDEP from Sidetracked seems to be chugging along at a snails pace but it will be out. Bandname has decided that they do not want the demo rereleased and are instead working on a new 7" while also working on an LP. If all goes well possibly by spring we can see something from those sessions. Just Die! is getting lots of good reviews with their 7" and you can still pick that up from yours truly. Lowbrow recently played their return show after not playing for about six months and are currently working on new material for what might be another 7"!!!

In other news, Meth Mountain, whose 7" "Monotony" we silently co-released with Lunchbox Records and Made In Kansas is breaking up. We will be releasing a discography cassette that has the "Drugs Rule" demo tape, "Gentrificat" cdep, "Monotony" and their newest unreleased songs from a session they did with our good buddy Marshall W. You can pick up their last recordings at their last two shows (Feb. 17th and 20th) until we are able to compile everything for the discography.

Lastly, we are once again using the Bigcartel site as our webstore until we can sort out all the kinks in our site. check it out
